Although the technology provides designers with seemingly limitless possibilities, there are still obstacles for the entire fashion industry. The technology is still mainly limited to wearable devices and accessories.
Whether 3D printed clothing will add value to our existing wardrobe is still a question. Perhaps it is not 3D printing in the strictest sense, but the application of some concepts.
