We have just finished the fabrication project of cylindrical shell length up to 28 meters for a large horizontal storage tank.
This work of shell fabrication has the main challenges of thin wall thickness, large diameter, and big outer the shape of an ellipse, but we have succeeded in meeting customer requirements of strict straightness and shell deformation controlled.
All 13 equal rolled cylinders have been joined to form a large cylindrical shell, so their rolling accuracy has a direct impact on overall quality.
